Located in the heart of Dublin along the river Liffey, the 5-star Morrison Hotel is one of the top hotels in Ireland. IN2 was appointed to provide mechanical and electrical engineering design services for the refurbishment and extension of this 145-bedroom hotel. Extensive refurbishments were made throughout the reception areas, hotel gym, and guestrooms.
Built in 1999 on the site of a recording studio, the Morrison Hotel has welcomed many famous performers since its inception. The refurbishment project focused on this aspect of the hotel's history incorporating Irish music and songwriters into the overall design.
The successful completion of this project has contributed to its recent upgrade to a 5-star rated hotel and its achievement of becoming the first Irish hotel to join Hilton’s Curio Collection. Additionally, the Morrison Hotel was awarded a gold rating from Green Tourism, an internationally recognised accreditation acknowledging sustainable tourism.
