About the Project

Originally built as private residences in the 17th Century The Stafford is amongst the most historical hotels in London, known for its intimate ambience and unique air of classic Britishness. IN2 were delighted to undertake M&E design for the refurbishment of the Stafford Hotels seventeen, 5-star luxury guest rooms, as well as the extension of the hotel terrace. The objective for this project was to provide Building Services Installations designs based on robust Mechanical and Electrical systems to ensure 5-star worthy performance throughout the hotel.

Systems and components were designed and selected on a low-maintenance, low-energy approach, to ensure ongoing operational costs are minimised throughout the building and associated systems’ life cycles.
For this project business continuity was key when working on this live site. IN2 made sure all works were carried out in line with this objective and the Stafford remained open for guests throughout and was completed in 2020.

“This is another landmark renovation project for The Stafford London and we were excited to upgrade the look and feel of our historic main house rooms and our spectacular new duplex suite, which has breath-taking views over the London skyline. The heritage of the main house has been honoured and updated with timeless touches that are sure to continue their legacy of being some of the most luxurious accommodations in London.” - Stuart Procter, chief operating officer of the Stafford Collection
