IN2 raises over €30,000 for Children's Health Foundation Temple Street

On Friday 8 April the whole IN2 team got together to take part in a fundraiser cycle we organised to support Children's Health Foundation Temple Street.

Our cyclists braved the Irish weather which consisted of hail, sun, rain and sideways rain! With 3 routes planned we had over 50 cyclists tackle a 130km, 90km and 45km route with a cross-over point in Mullingar for a well-deserved break together. Our presence was noted with our IN2 matching jackets with many donations from generous passers-by from cafes and restaurants we took breaks at. We would like to especially thank, CJK, Life Adventures, Code blue & Ballymahon Greenway cycles for their support on the day.

The cycle was followed by an evening of food, drinks and dancing in Athlone. A raffle also took place to raise even more funds for the charity with our total coming in at €32,830.

Everyone that took part, supported and donated has been working towards fundraising to support Temple Street Children's Hospital through Children's Health Foundation Temple Street. Since 1872, Temple Street has been providing around-the-clock, expert care to sick children and their families with the vision of providing every sick child with the very best chance. If a tragic event occurs, they are still there providing care and support to the family afterwards.

Temple Street Children's Hospital cares for up to 130,000 children per year in the North and South of Ireland and there are over 30 different clinical specialities at the hospital.
